What will it take to make the world a better place to bleed in? Not pathology, medicine or science alone. Not innovation and tech devoid of education and systems change. To make a better world to bleed in, is to recognise what it means for the spirit to bleed. To bleed is to let go, release, surrender. To die and be reborn. We must reckon with our blood not as sickness, but as aliveness. The padding and removing and distancing, overcoming and denying of natural cycles is causing us all to suffer. To make a better world to bleed in, is to follow our nature, to listen to our symptoms, and to return spirit home to mind and body.
